Frequently Asked Questions
-
Your first session is a chance for you to get to know your therapist and your therapist to get to know you! You’ll talk about what is bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work on.
-

We provide a structured framework for the therapeutic journey, all the while empowering clients to embrace their true, authentic selves. We have a combined approach that involves providing education, insights, and practical tools to help clients find their way through stuck points.
-
It depends on the person! Sometimes clients want to work on one specific topic and feel they have met their goal after a few weeks or months. Other clients may want to explore deeper to learn about their patterns, grow awareness, and transform their life, which can take a longer amount of time. Meaningful change takes time, so therapy can last as long as it is needed to meet the goals you have in mind.
-
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy! Therapy can be a great tool to find clarity, identify patterns, learn how to connect better in relationships, and feel overall more content in your life.
-
You are able to schedule in person or virtual sessions, or a mix of both depending on your needs! It is ideal that you set aside the same time every week, however, rescheduling is always an option for flexibility. It’s ideal to have weekly sessions in order to make progress towards your goals on a consistent basis. Once progress has been made, biweekly or monthly sessions are a possibility!
The office hours are Monday 4pm-8pm, Tuesday 12pm-8pm, Wednesday 12pm-8pm, and Thursday 4pm-8pm. There are other times available at your therapist’s discretion.
